To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nastasio Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Makarios FC defense, Cordarrell Govelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quirce Lopidana. The Makarios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quirce Lopidana should have stopped the shot. Makarios FC's Rico Trasgallo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordarrell Govelo was the one to do the kick off. If Fagondo Laiseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Makarios FC's goalkeeper Quirce Lopidana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fagondo Laiseca. A collision led to Mediodia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fagondo Laiseca hit a great ball. Telo Ochagavia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fagondo Laiseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Quirce Lopidana firmly grabbed it by the left post. Quirce Lopidana made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fagondo Laiseca sent off a good shot on target. Telo Ochagavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Armando Bergas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oriol Theas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fagondo Laiseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telo Ochagavia took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oriol Theas. Oriol Theas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nastasio Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Oriol Theas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
