Sergio Salces dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Esperlan's zone, Jaunti Carmona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dabi Manzanedo came out of the goal and Jaunti Carmona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jaunti Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Sergio Salces made the kick off in the second half. When Ponciano Malta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperlan's protests and gave Ponciano Malta a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Esperlan got a freekick which was hit by Ponciano Malta. 54 minutes into the match, Esperlan's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Salces came free, but Dabi Manzanedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mane Lasalde made a great header on Reason4ever's corner, it was just that Esperlan's Dabi Manzanedo managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Reason4ever could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Esperlan throughout the match.
