In the 12thth minute of the game Cordaro Carbajal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jemetamana's Guifre Burriaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olo Poblaciàn charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olo Poblaciàn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jemetamana! Jesus Cabada walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Orlin Seguin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Jemetamana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlin Seguin couldn't finish the play. When Froylan Baroja fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corneliano's protests and gave Froylan Baroja a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Corneliano got a freekick which was hit by Froylan Baroja. Confesor Lecea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guifre Burriaga having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Corneliano's Confesor Lecea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guifre Burriaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordaro Carbajal in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guifre Burriaga saved Jemetamana from getting behind. Roegelio Campusano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Celada having to make a save. Cordaro Carbajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Corneliano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlin Seguin to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Jemetamana's goal looked a bit too open when Confesor Lecea came free, but Guifre Burriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordaro Carbajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guifre Burriaga having to interfere. If Confesor Lecea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guifre Burriaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Confesor Lecea in the 64th minute of the match. Cordaro Carbajal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guifre Burriaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneliano's Cordaro Carbajal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordaro Carbajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guifre Burriaga having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, Jemetamana's goal looked a bit too open when Confesor Lecea came free, but Guifre Burriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
