In the 14th minute, Coleota's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucado Vialpando fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Coleota's Oskarbi Lozana got control of the ball when Lucado Vialpando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coleota's Oskarbi Lozana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Coleota from getting a goal against them. Fabio Achueta hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Machin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Lerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hernandez FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tximitx Coronel hit a great ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Pujals who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernandez FC's Ferdinand Machin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Roland Lerin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Coleota's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Sole came free, but Oskarbi Lozana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernandez FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Coleota's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerrald Coviella took the corner. Jerrald Coviella made a great header on Hernandez FC's corner, it was just that Coleota's Oskarbi Lozana managed to reach the ball for a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
