Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mingo Gijon made the kick off which started today's match. Lehen Fraile in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jordi Antoñano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 13 minutes into the game, Raymond Ochari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barboza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espejuelo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barboza's Raymond Ochari got a free kick in the 13th minute. Raymond Ochari got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 17th minute, Raymond Ochari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Sanjuan in the 20th minute of play forced Barboza's goalkeeper Cordareo Arenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Espejuelo's Jimeno Sanjuan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordareo Arenas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 25 minutes, Jimeno Sanjuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espejuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Sanjuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Espejuelo's Jordi Antoñano got control of the ball when Lehen Fraile tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Sanjuan in the 31st minute of play forced Barboza's goalkeeper Cordareo Arenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barboza's Cordareo Arenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Sanjuan in the 33rd minute of play. If Lohitzun Cortiguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Sanjuan scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cordareo Arenas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lehen Fraile to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Lehen Fraile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Antoñano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espejuelo's Jordi Antoñano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lehen Fraile in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Sanjuan got free with Cordareo Arenas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, Espejuelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lohitzun Cortiguera to maneuver through the defense. When Lehen Fraile came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Barboza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lehen Fraile couldn't finish the play. Lehen Fraile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordi Antoñano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Cordareo Arenas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mingo Gijon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. After 69 played minutes Espejuelo got a freekick which was hit by Ponciano Cuesta. In the 70th minute, Oscar Adarzo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Espejuelo's Jordi Antoñano didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet as Mingo Gijon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cordareo Arenas. That made the score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. If Ponciano Cuesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, one of Barboza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 84th match minute, Barboza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioritz Palmero to maneuver through the defense. Lehen Fraile blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordi Antoñano having to make a save. Lehen Fraile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponciano Cuesta's late challenge caught a Barboza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponciano Cuesta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Espejuelo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ponciano Cuesta hit a great ball. Oscar Adarzo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jordi Antoñano. Espejuelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Espejuelo's zone, Lehen Fraile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordi Antoñano came out of the goal and Lehen Fraile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mercurio Arbulo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordi Antoñano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mercurio Arbulo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Espejuelo getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ponciano Cuesta hit a great ball. The Espejuelo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espejuelo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
