Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Espejuelo's Mingo Gijon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Telmo Cadrecha hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The long shot by Sol Pantigoso in the 10th minute really tested Cambranes Taladriz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cambranes Taladriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mingo Gijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Espejuelo's zone, Teofilo Urbina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordi Antoñano came out of the goal and Teofilo Urbina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Aranguiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Mingo Gijon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cambranes Taladriz. Mingo Gijon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Justo Aranguiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordi Antoñano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Aranguiz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Mingo Gijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cambranes Taladriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Pelero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Galvan to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sol Pantigoso in the 32nd minute really tested Cambranes Taladriz's skills. After 33 played minutes, Pelero's Valerio Merlo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jordi Antoñano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pelero reached it. Jordi Antoñano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Urbina in the 37th minute of the match. Jordi Antoñano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Urbina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teofilo Urbina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordi Antoñano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Olaverrieta in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Justo Aranguiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jordi Antoñano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cambranes Taladriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Sanjuan in the 57th minute of play. If Justo Aranguiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Espejuelo defense, Teofilo Urbina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jordi Antoñano. The Espejuelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jordi Antoñano should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Lohitzun Cortiguera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pelero's Cambranes Taladriz. Cambranes Taladriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cambranes Taladriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Sanjuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelero's Cambranes Taladriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lohitzun Cortiguera in the 72nd minute of play. Cambranes Taladriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lohitzun Cortiguera in the 73rd minute of play. After 79 minutes, Valerio Merlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pelero and the Espejuelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lohitzun Cortiguera struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cambranes Taladriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espejuelo. In the 83rd minute, Jimeno Sanjuan made a precise shot to the right of Cambranes Taladriz. Pelero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Mingo Gijon took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cambranes Taladriz. Cambranes Taladriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. A sloppy throw-in by Caetano Zahonero in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pelero's Valerio Merlo. After 96 minutes, Ponciano Cuesta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espejuelo and the Pelero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Espejuelo's Ponciano Cuesta got a free kick in the 96th minute.
