If Dalmau Larreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Luey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zuzen Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caribay FC's Humberto Luey got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmau Larreta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brais Motel having to make a save. After some careless play in the Sonson FC defense, Humberto Luey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zuzen Alcalde. The Sonson FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zuzen Alcalde should have stopped the shot. Dalmau Larreta struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Brais Motel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonson FC. After 35 played minutes Caribay FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Illera. Brais Motel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Helguera in the 38th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Isaias Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnalt Pantoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zuzen Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brais Motel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmau Larreta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Isaias Helguera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Caribay FC's Brais Motel. Brais Motel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmau Larreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Brais Motel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dalmau Larreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Caribay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmau Larreta came free, but Brais Motel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zuzen Alcalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Luey, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sonson FC's Isaias Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isaias Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caribay FC's zone, Dalmau Larreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brais Motel came out of the goal and Dalmau Larreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonson FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
