After some careless play in the Paloquemao FC defense, Botello Araujo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Pose. The Paloquemao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Pose should have stopped the shot. Federico Pose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikelats Padilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 39th match minute, Paloquemao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Albertos to maneuver through the defense. When Mikelats Padilla came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the GalvisFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikelats Padilla couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Paloquemao FC's zone, Botello Araujo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Pose came out of the goal and Botello Araujo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Botello Araujo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Federico Pose when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Inko Renteria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semeno Obiano in the 59th minute of play. Regis Bolivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Federico Pose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GalvisFC's Botello Araujo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pedro Rubalcava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Amoros in the 78th minute of play forced Paloquemao FC's goalkeeper Federico Pose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mikelats Padilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paloquemao FC's Federico Pose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GalvisFC's Inko Renteria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eguerdi Nieva in the 84th minute of play. Federico Pose made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mikelats Padilla sent off a good shot on target. Botello Araujo in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Federico Pose, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. GalvisFC's Denis Concepcion got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Paloquemao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikelats Padilla came free, but Federico Pose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Rubalcava's late challenge caught a Paloquemao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Rubalcava helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GalvisFC's Pedro Rubalcava got a free kick in the 93rd minute. GalvisFC played a much better game than Paloquemao FC and deserved their victory. The Paloquemao FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
