Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Helder Herrera kicked off to start the match. Helder Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Conrao Palianza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Alicante FC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Rioz. Alicante FC's Helder Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helder Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Helder Herrera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alicante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hencker Boys the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Alicante FC's zone, Xabel Villametide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlo Lama came out of the goal and Xabel Villametide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helder Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrao Palianza having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xabel Villametide was the one to do the kick off. Xabel Villametide hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Helder Herrera struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Conrao Palianza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alicante FC. After some careless play in the Hencker Boys defense, Helder Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrao Palianza. The Hencker Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrao Palianza should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Jacinto Perrote in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alicante FC's Helder Herrera. Xabel Villametide hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Conrao Palianza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Esquipula Tejeria. The supporters of Hencker Boys booed when Alicante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helder Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helder Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Helder Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manel Escalada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Hencker Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Helder Herrera came free, but Conrao Palianza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrao Palianza came out of the goal and Asier Artolozaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Antoñana charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominic Antoñana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Alicante FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alicante FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
