The referee ignored AMERICA DE CALI's protests and gave Kauldi Acevez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TIGRES F.C. booed when AMERICA DE CALI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauldi Acevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polentzi Nuño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Severo Carbajal made a huge save. Polentzi Nuños short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Severo Carbajal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severo Carbajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hever Uria, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kauldi Acevez kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Hever Uria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sagrario Mariña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Paublo Guridi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hever Uria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hever Uria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Carbajal having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, AMERICA DE CALI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veremundo Albertos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, AMERICA DE CALI's Severo Carbajal got control of the ball when Polentzi Nuño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rubio Irizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hever Uria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joey Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the TIGRES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, AMERICA DE CALI's Bernabel Seracoyz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Polentzi Nuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, TIGRES F.C.'s Polentzi Nuño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Carbajal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Polentzi Nuño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Carbajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Sagrario Mariña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauldi Acevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sagrario Mariña charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sagrario Mariña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AMERICA DE CALI getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sagrario Mariña hit a great ball. If Polentzi Nuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Hever Uria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Carbajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Carbajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polentzi Nuño in the 85th minute of the match. Hever Uria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Severo Carbajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AMERICA DE CALI's zone, Hever Uria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Carbajal came out of the goal and Hever Uria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, AMERICA DE CALI's goal looked a bit too open when Polentzi Nuño came free, but Severo Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Hever Uria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Carbajal. AMERICA DE CALI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hever Uria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TIGRES F.C. fully deserved thier win.
