Simon Hermosilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etxekopar Magadan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Club Atletico Parisino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Garin Perrote fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Mota in the 73rd minute of play forced Millonarios's goalkeeper Reynaldo Bojorquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Garin Perrote ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Hermosilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 78 minutes into the match, Iratxo Hinojosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Bojorquez. Millonarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iratxo Hinojosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarracino Gasca got free with Simon Hermosilla in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garin Perrote could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Simon Hermosilla made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Rosio Guardamiño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eutor Corral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Mota's late challenge caught a Millonarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geraldo Mota helped the player get up and apologised. Geraldo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Millonarios's Garin Perrote got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
