The referee ignored Sacania's protests and gave Weather Porquera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Country FC booed when Sacania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weather Porquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabrio Villaran during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabrio Villaran hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisio Espinoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Rivadeneira. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After some careless play in the Country FC defense, Gabrio Villaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Rivadeneira. The Country FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Rivadeneira should have stopped the shot. Fabian Llordes hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Cordero Monjo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berriotxoa Montarco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sacania's goal looked a bit too open when Bermudo Leal came free, but Berriotxoa Montarco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bermudo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Teigeiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Weather Porqueras short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Claudio Rivadeneira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Weather Porquera in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Rivadeneira saved Country FC from getting behind. Bermudo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 47 in the game by Weather Porquera from a close distance when the talented Claudio Rivadeneira managed to make a qualified save. Country FC's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Weather Porquera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Sacania's Dionisio Espinoso fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Espinoso in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Rivadeneira saved Country FC from getting behind. In the 57th minute Weather Porquera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Rivadeneira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacania's Weather Porquera got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Weather Porquera in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Rivadeneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domiku Moldes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Rivadeneira having to interfere. Weather Porquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes, Sacania's Fabian Llordes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Rivadeneira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sacania reached it. Frechoso Corzana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Rivadeneira. Country FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Country FC's zone, Dionisio Espinoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Rivadeneira came out of the goal and Dionisio Espinoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes, Sacania's Frechoso Corzana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Rivadeneira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sacania reached it. When Dionisio Espinoso came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sacania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Espinoso couldn't finish the play. Weather Porquera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Rivadeneira having to make a save. Domiku Moldes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Claudio Rivadeneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Sacania's Fabian Llordes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabian Llordes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sacania protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabian Llordes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Sacania:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Country FC:s goal. In the 96th minute, Ruperto Teigeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Weather Porquera came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sacania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weather Porquera couldn't finish the play. 99 minutes into the match, Dionisio Espinoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Rivadeneira. Country FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Espinoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. There was no doubt that Sacania were the better team. Sacania's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
