The supporters of Javilla FC booed when Club Atlético de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernendo Allende didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sotero Cordon in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Atlético de Madrid's Esiquio Cuenca. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Esiquio Cuenca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Esiquio Cuenca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 43rd minute Elequemedo Fito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pasqual Juarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenec Jayaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josepe Forcelledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Atlético de Madrid's attentive Fernendo Allende managed to snatch the ball when Fermin Maquiano made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game.
