The Damian fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cabarga FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Perez Collantes scored to the left of an out of position Aquilino Rebolleda, making the score, 2-0. After 17 minutes, Bingen Bayona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabarga FC and the Damian players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Cabarga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bingen Bayona to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richie Besosa in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Rebolleda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Perez Collantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquilino Rebolleda. Perez Collantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 26 played minutes Cabarga FC got a freekick which was hit by Pio Grandas. Javier Ibarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Damian booed when Cabarga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Burgueño didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cabarga FC defense, Perez Collantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Rebolleda. The Cabarga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Rebolleda should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pio Grandas in the 38th minute of play forced Damian's goalkeeper Rolando Ladra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Perez Collantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Damian's supporters rose to their feet, but Perez Collantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Rebolleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nemesio Negral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Perez Collantes made the kick off in the second half. Aquilino Rebolleda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frantzes Cordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Richie Besosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Rebolleda having to interfere. Nemesio Negral charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Negral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Javier Ibarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Perez Collantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Rebolleda was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Cabarga FC's Aquilino Rebolleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Ibarra in the 66th minute of play. Aquilino Rebolleda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Ibarra went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Javier Ibarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aquilino Rebolleda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Perez Collantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Rebolleda. Cabarga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perez Collantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Perez Collantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Cabarga FC got a freekick which was hit by Bingen Bayona. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Damian fully deserved thier win.
