The attack was good, but when Rubio Tizon in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, IND. SANTAFE's Cruz Mendigoitia got control of the ball when Malvin Rendain tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pablo-Enrique Rafales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tono Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tono Mauricio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. IND. SANTAFE's Zayvius Serna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chapud. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo-Enrique Rafales got free with Sergi Alda in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cruz Mendigoitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Tizon in the 61st minute of play. If Tono Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malvin Rendain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IND. SANTAFE's Cruz Mendigoitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvin Rendain in the 79th minute of play. Cruz Mendigoitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubio Tizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Rubio Tizon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cruz Mendigoitia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruz Mendigoitia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malvin Rendain's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to Chapud getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Etxepare Mulas hit a great ball. Sergi Alda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zayvius Serna. Cosme Guillaumet charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Guillaumet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fonda Ruich shot from long distance in the 94th minute, but Sergi Alda was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Rubio Tizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Mendigoitia having to interfere. Chapud's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
