An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Areizabal in the 5th minute of play forced All galaxy stars's goalkeeper Rufo Mascarañas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurentzi Retana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ferdi Frommermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berdoi Linde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Frommermann having to interfere. When Julio Areizabal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Colombia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Areizabal couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Etxekopar Villagomez put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, All galaxy stars's Etxekopar Villagomez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Berdoi Linde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rufo Mascarañas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Areizabal in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Calero to make the kick off. Rufo Mascarañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beti Capitillo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Beti Capitillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rufo Mascarañas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Berdoi Linde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All galaxy stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berdoi Linde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufo Mascarañas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Areizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rufo Mascarañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beti Capitillo in the 71st minute of play. Bilintx Arranz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Beti Capitillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rufo Mascarañas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufo Mascarañas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Areizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. All galaxy stars's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Colombia FC had won, even though All galaxy stars had held more of the ball.
