Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Normando Bermeo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Andonaegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes, Carmen's Reno Burriaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciriaco Andonaegui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carmen reached it. In the 27th minute Lleir Viego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Andonaegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Andonaegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perez Ygnacio in the 30th minute of play. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perez Ygnacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Normando Bermeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Bermeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Andonaegui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes millonarios fc got a freekick which was hit by Baumar Cervera. 42 minutes into the match, millonarios fc's goal looked a bit too open when Perez Ygnacio came free, but Ciriaco Andonaegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Normando Bermeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Perez Ygnacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but millonarios fc's Ciriaco Andonaegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Normando Bermeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Borjas made a kick off. Normando Bermeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Andonaegui having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Robustiano Garrote had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Andonaegui. millonarios fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Garrote was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Carmen's Perez Ygnacio in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in millonarios fc's zone, Normando Bermeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Andonaegui came out of the goal and Normando Bermeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perez Ygnacio in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciriaco Andonaegui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciriaco Andonaegui didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Normando Bermeo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ciriaco Andonaegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmen. Ciriaco Andonaegui was a little too slow when Normando Bermeo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. Carmen played a much better game than millonarios fc and deserved their victory. The millonarios fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
