The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Xan Cordovilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roldan Tejerizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportes Tolima's Roldan Tejerizo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roldan Tejerizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Baltanas having to interfere. Kismi Mimenza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Tapitas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roldan Tejerizo came free, but Guillerme Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kismi Mimenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tapitas F.C's Guillerme Baltanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordeiro Digon in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Eleder Mexia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cordaryal Avellaneda. Eleder Mexia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Deportes Tolima getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cordeiro Digon hit a great ball. Zeledon Lizana's late challenge caught a Deportes Tolima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Lizana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Tapitas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Lizana to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Kismi Mimenza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportes Tolima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kismi Mimenza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roldan Tejerizo was the one to do the kick off. Zemario Parcero made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportes Tolima's Cordeiro Digon. 53 minutes into the match, Cordeiro Digon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillerme Baltanas. Tapitas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordeiro Digon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A hard shot 57 in the game by Cordeiro Digon from a close distance when the talented Guillerme Baltanas managed to make a qualified save. Tapitas F.C's players were relieved. Deportes Tolima's Kismi Mimenza got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roldan Tejerizos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Guillerme Baltanas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Estevez Gadea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cordaryal Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kismi Mimenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordaryal Gallinar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Roldan Tejerizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Guillerme Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Zemario Parcero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportes Tolima's Cordeiro Digon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Roldan Tejerizo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Guillerme Baltanas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Zemario Parcero in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportes Tolima's Cordeiro Digon. Cordeiro Digon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Baltanas having to interfere. With a little luck, Tapitas F.C's Guillerme Baltanas got control of the ball when Kismi Mimenza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillerme Baltanas was a little too slow when Cordeiro Digon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-2. Guillerme Baltanas made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Roldan Tejerizo sent off a good shot on target. After 95 minutes Tapitas F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xinaro Feyto who took care of the corner kick. After 96 played minutes Tapitas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Lizana. Deportes Tolima played a much better game than Tapitas F.C and deserved their victory. The Tapitas F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
