Magote FC's Azibar Darraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montrel Abadia in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Montrel Abadia put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Azibar Darraña. After some careless play in the Magote FC defense, Montrel Abadia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azibar Darraña. The Magote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azibar Darraña should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Montrel Abadia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azibar Darraña was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Montrel Abadia struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Azibar Darraña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibasosa FC. After a defensive mix-up in Magote FC's zone, Montrel Abadia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azibar Darraña came out of the goal and Montrel Abadia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Azibar Darraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chorache Sedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Chorache Sedeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tibasosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chorache Sedeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chorache Sedeño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chorache Sedeño in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Azibar Darraña, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Magote FC's Azibar Darraña got control of the ball when Chorache Sedeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Azibar Darraña made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Chorache Sedeño sent off a good shot on target. Azibar Darraña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severo Mirabel went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Chorache Sedeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Azibar Darraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Montrel Abadia in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azibar Darraña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Gaudencio Portocarrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Montrel Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montrel Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chorache Sedeño struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Magote FC's Cebo Cabrerizo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Azibar Darraña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Montrel Abadia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 82 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chorache Sedeño in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azibar Darraña saved Magote FC from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Magote FC's goalkeeper Azibar Darraña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chorache Sedeño. After having played for 90 minutes, Montrel Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tibasosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Montrel Abadia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
