Zeledon Lizana kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Tapitas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Montrel Abadia came free, but Guillerme Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Tibasosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Estevez Gadea came free, but Yoel Curbelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillerme Baltanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montrel Abadia in the 11th minute of play. Eleder Mexia struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tapitas F.C's zone, Chorache Sedeño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillerme Baltanas came out of the goal and Chorache Sedeño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignado Mathey charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignado Mathey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xan Cordovilla shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Tapitas F.C booed when Tibasosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertol Chandeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fonda Cedron hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Tapitas F.C got a corner. Tibasosa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xan Cordovilla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guillerme Baltanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chorache Sedeño in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Montrel Abadia made a precise shot to the right of Guillerme Baltanas. Tapitas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Montrel Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Baltanas having to interfere. Chorache Sedeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Tibasosa FC's Chorache Sedeño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillerme Baltanas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Montrel Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Eleder Mexia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapitas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleder Mexia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The shot was a little too simple and Guillerme Baltanas could save by the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Tapitas F.C's goalkeeper Guillerme Baltanas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chorache Sedeño. Guillerme Baltanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montrel Abadia in the 93rd minute of the match.
