Buinton Bevia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Guillerme Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Buinton Bevia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillerme Baltanas. Tapitas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Buinton Bevia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Xencio Closa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xencio Closa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillerme Baltanas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Porfiro Falip got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Tapitas F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Canelo FC:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Canelo FC. Renato Sevilla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guillerme Baltanas. 0-3. Perico Uriarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleder Mexia in the 37th minute. If Xencio Closa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Zeledon Lizana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleder Mexia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canelo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xan Cordovilla was slow to take the kick. During this time Tapitas F.C's players had a chance to rest. After 60 minutes, Patxi Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canelo FC and the Tapitas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Patxi Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Xencio Closa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Xencio Closa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Canelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tino Sotomayor to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Buinton Bevia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillerme Baltanas. Buinton Bevia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 98th minute, Tapitas F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xencio Closa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over Canelo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tapitas F.C throughout the match.
