Innocenzio Lerdo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sotomayor booed when Jaggers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaggers FC's Nuno Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarryl Baroja in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Roland Corrales tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicente Urdapilleta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Sotomayor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordarryl Baroja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roland Corrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Corrales might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Urdapilleta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Corrales ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Naldo Maujo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaggers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Maujo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Urdapilleta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaggers FC's Nuno Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarryl Baroja in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sotomayor's Cordarryl Baroja got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirande Rubin in the 89th minute of play forced Jaggers FC's goalkeeper Nuno Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loreto Zambranos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nuno Mora came out and tried to block the shot, but Loreto Zambranos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Roland Corrales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Urdapilleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inguma Panguision during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inguma Panguision hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
