Amaiteo's supporters rose to their feet, but Oier Mendigoitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Cemborain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute Oier Mendigoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Cemborain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amaiteo's Matai Rebolleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polentzi Limpias in the 9th minute of play. Matai Rebolleda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sansone Alais in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Oier Mendigoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Cemborain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Cemborain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oier Mendigoitia was the one to do the kick off. Amaiteo's Jeronimo Montoia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ramiro Cemborain but with some difficulty. 60 minutes into the match, Aglarion Team's goal looked a bit too open when Oier Mendigoitia came free, but Ramiro Cemborain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Amaiteo's Jobo Marco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Cemborain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Aglarion Team's Ramiro Cemborain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Aglarion Team from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Amaiteo's Jobo Marco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Cemborain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sansone Alais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Matai Rebolleda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aglarion Team's Gaizko Molledo pulled a muscle in his leg after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Salvatore Salazano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvatore Salazano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Amaiteo's Salvatore Salazano got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sansone Alais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matai Rebolleda having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Amaiteo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aglarion Team.
