Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oier Mendigoitia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Amaiteo's Jobo Marco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jobo Marco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amaiteo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jobo Marco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Luzuriaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oier Mendigoitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Luzuriaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lobo Araso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Santander's zone, Jobo Marco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Luzuriaga came out of the goal and Jobo Marco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Jobo Marco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaiteo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jobo Marco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jobo Marco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. Darien Oterino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Amaiteo's Matai Rebolleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Basabe in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Ovidio Basabe made a precise shot to the right of Matai Rebolleda. Amaiteo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Atlético Santander's Adolfo Luzuriaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Santander from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Basabe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Salvatore Salazano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amaiteo's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvatore Salazano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 55th match minute, Amaiteo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darien Oterino to maneuver through the defense. Cristos Barroiz took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matai Rebolleda. Matai Rebolleda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Adolfo Luzuriaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oier Mendigoitia went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Adolfo Luzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jobo Marco in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oier Mendigoitia in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Luzuriaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Luzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oier Mendigoitia in the 88th minute of play. Atlético Santander's Adolfo Luzuriaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jobo Marco in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Oier Mendigoitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Luzuriaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jobo Marco's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
