Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erramun Henriquez made the kick off which started today's match. Serrapio's Zeledon Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Fontoya in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Caimán Cienaga FC's Alberto Fontoya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Cuadrado. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. When Maximino Gobantes came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Caimán Cienaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Gobantes couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Serrapio's goalkeeper Zeledon Cuadrado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Cuadrado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Erramun Henriquez came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Serrapio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erramun Henriquez couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Fontoya in the 33rd minute of the match. Alberto Fontoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zeledon Cuadrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Gobantess short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Zeledon Cuadrado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, Serrapio's goalkeeper Zeledon Cuadrado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Gobantes. In the 46th minute Alberto Fontoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Fontoya was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alberto Fontoya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Cuadrado. Serrapio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Fontoya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 56 played minutes Caimán Cienaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Lobo Frera. Zeledon Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Gobantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Maximino Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erramun Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Maximino Gobantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Cuadrado was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Zeledon Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Gobantes in the 67th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Caimán Cienaga FC's Alberto Fontoya made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Cuadrado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Alberto Fontoya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erramun Henriquez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Gobantes in the 82nd minute of play forced Serrapio's goalkeeper Zeledon Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Caimán Cienaga FC's Alberto Fontoya made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Cuadrado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Erramun Henriquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Maximino Gobantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Caimán Cienaga FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
