Maximino Gobantes kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Diagur Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Fontoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Maximino Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diagur Vital came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Caimán Cienaga FC's Alberto Fontoya. But to his dismay, Alberto Fontoya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ladislao Ochagavia's late challenge caught a Caimán Cienaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Ochagavia helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes CA Potros Arianopla got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Ochagavia. In the 23rd minute Alberto Fontoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Vital saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Fontoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diagur Vital made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Gobantes in the 30th minute of play. Christiano Villaquilambre took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arias Pedron. Arias Pedron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 36th minute Maximino Gobantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Vital saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maximino Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diagur Vital took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Gobantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Maximino Gobantes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Caimán Cienaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Gobantes couldn't finish the play. Diagur Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Fontoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lobo Frera kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Maximino Gobantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Diagur Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Tojedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Potros Arianopla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caimán Cienaga FC the free kick. A collision led to CA Potros Arianopla getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Vladimiro Tojedo hit a great ball. Alberto Fontoya struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Diagur Vital didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caimán Cienaga FC. Maximino Gobantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Diagur Vital managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Caimán Cienaga FC's Alberto Fontoya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arias Pedron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tajo Centenales in the 59th minute of play. Maximino Gobantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diagur Vital having to interfere. Alberto Fontoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caimán Cienaga FC's Maximino Gobantes got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arias Pedron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tajo Centenales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frasquito Aelle during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Caimán Cienaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frasquito Aelle to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Caimán Cienaga FC booed when CA Potros Arianopla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Ochagavia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Ochagavia got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to CA Potros Arianopla getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ladislao Ochagavia hit a great ball. Alberto Fontoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Fontoya in the 88th minute of play forced CA Potros Arianopla's goalkeeper Diagur Vital to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CA Potros Arianopla's zone, Maximino Gobantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diagur Vital came out of the goal and Maximino Gobantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CA Potros Arianopla's Diagur Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CA Potros Arianopla from getting a goal against them. Alberto Fontoya was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. CA Potros Arianopla succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Caimán Cienaga FC had controlled the match.
