Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Curramba FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mondonedo:s goal. Curramba FC:s Hulberto Torriba showed great skill when he stopped Azibar Bonechea:s penalty. If Erruki Almaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Nicholas Marines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Roches in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Irabien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Curramba FC's zone, Faron Tubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulberto Torriba came out of the goal and Faron Tubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Curramba FC's Nicholas Marines got a free kick in the 25th minute. Asier Aldana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hulberto Torriba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Asier Aldana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hulberto Torriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asier Aldana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Hulberto Torriba made a huge save. A collision led to Curramba FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Urdin Gallo hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes Mondonedo got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Alaña. In the 49th minute of the match Mingo Posada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Irabien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After a defensive mix-up in Mondonedo's zone, Erruki Almaraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Irabien came out of the goal and Erruki Almaraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faron Tubia in the 69th minute of play forced Curramba FC's goalkeeper Hulberto Torriba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Aldo Roches notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mondonedo's Emiliano Irabien. Emiliano Irabien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute Aldo Roches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Irabien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faron Tubia fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mondonedo's protests and gave Faron Tubia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Curramba FC booed when Mondonedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faron Tubia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asier Aldana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulberto Torriba having to interfere. When Faron Tubia came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mondonedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faron Tubia couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Ruete during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Curramba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Ruete to maneuver through the defense. When Asier Aldana came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mondonedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asier Aldana couldn't finish the play. Curramba FC's Hulberto Torriba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faron Tubia in the 98th minute of play. The Mondonedo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Curramba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Curramba FC.
