Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Fontoya in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diagur Vital prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, CA Potros Arianopla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Ochagavia to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Alberto Fontoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diagur Vital saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Gobantes struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Diagur Vital didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caimán Cienaga FC. Diagur Vital made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Fontoya in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Caimán Cienaga FC booed when CA Potros Arianopla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Tojedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes CA Potros Arianopla got a freekick which was hit by Lehen Gondorillas. The long shot by Montrell Michelena in the 22nd minute really tested Diagur Vital's skills. Diagur Vital made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Gobantes in the 33rd minute. A collision led to CA Potros Arianopla getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ladislao Ochagavia hit a great ball. If Maximino Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alberto Fontoya came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Caimán Cienaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fontoya couldn't finish the play. CA Potros Arianopla's Diagur Vital proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save CA Potros Arianopla from getting a goal against them. Diagur Vital was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Maximino Gobantes sped through CA Potros Arianopla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diagur Vital. 94 minutes into the game, Caimán Cienaga FC's Maximino Gobantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diagur Vital made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Caimán Cienaga FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
