During the 83rd minute of the match Orzaize Reguero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Orzaize Reguero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cuevas FC booed when Coloya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orzaize Reguero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Coloya FC's Americo Gutarrate got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Matro Rael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuevas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matro Rael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilintx Gaytan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuevas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Castel Confercin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Castel Confercin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuevas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
