The Venteadero FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Venteadero FC's Elias Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ubelteso Loranca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Seme Herreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Cuevas FC's zone, Elias Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seme Herreras came out of the goal and Elias Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Venteadero FC's Orain Saes got control of the ball when Castel Confercin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Castel Confercin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orain Saes having to interfere. Elias Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Claris Torrascasana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Bueno was the one to do the kick off. Seme Herreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Bueno in the 52nd minute of play. Orain Saes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubelteso Loranca, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 65 minutes, Azeari Zugarrondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venteadero FC and the Cuevas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orain Saes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Ubelteso Loranca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castel Confercin took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orain Saes. Orain Saes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Cuevas FC booed when Venteadero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azeari Zugarrondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claris Torrascasana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Seme Herreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cuevas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venteadero FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
