When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Mark Colon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ferrer Limofer. Fernando Abendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La banda pirata's Mark Colon got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Lourdes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La banda pirata:s goal. The referee gave La banda pirata a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lico Geras, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lourdes FC's Ferrer Limofer. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Abendaño in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferrer Limofer saved Lourdes FC from getting behind. Ferrer Limofer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Colon's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Fernando Abendaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrer Limofer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lourdes FC's Chorache Vedeja got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Lico Geras sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferrer Limofer skillfully saved the ball. Fernando Abendaño scored 0-4 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferrer Limofer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Colon in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferrer Limofer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Abendaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ferrer Limofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Abendaño came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the La banda pirata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Abendaño couldn't finish the play. In the 38thth minute of the game Fernando Abendaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lourdes FC's Ferrer Limofer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fernando Abendaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Abendaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ferrer Limofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Limofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lourdes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La banda pirata were winning 0-5.

If Mark Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fernando Abendaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrer Limofer was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Mark Colon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferrer Limofer firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 64 played minutes Lourdes FC got a freekick which was hit by Chorache Vedeja. 72 minutes into the game, Segundo Guceño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lourdes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La banda pirata the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Lourdes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Guceño to maneuver through the defense. When La banda pirata's Fernando Abendaño in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lourdes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Abendaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. When Fernando Abendaño came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the La banda pirata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Abendaño couldn't finish the play. Chorache Vedeja kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, La banda pirata's Lico Geras tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mark Colon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Ferrer Limofer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jurgi Cuerva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Moreyre having to interfere. In the 91st minute Fernando Abendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrer Limofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Abendaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ferrer Limofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, La banda pirata's Mark Colon made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferrer Limofer was left in no man's land by his defense there! La banda pirata's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
