The Atlético fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Atlético's Horacio Calva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the game, Atlético's Tximitx Delatorre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Vivera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 21st minute, Erramu Santelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Firmin Yzarra. The goal made the score 1-2. Tuttu FC's Matei Vivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Gacel in the 25th minute of play. If Tximitx Delatorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ibar Escamilla fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuttu FC's protests and gave Ibar Escamilla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Tuttu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibar Escamilla to maneuver through the defense. If Kaiet Herenchun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Atlético were awarded a corner. Baleren Rujula went to the cornerflag to take it. 75 minutes into the game, Atlético's Horacio Calva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Vivera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Horacio Calva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Matei Vivera 80 minutes into the match. Matei Vivera was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Horacio Calva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Calva really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaiet Herenchun during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Horacio Calva came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Atlético fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Calva couldn't finish the play. Atlético's Tximitx Delatorre got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
