The referee ignored Aniquiladores's protests and gave Gonzo Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. Siro Mañon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vachon Alarcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Omero Mirafuentes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Omero Mirafuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveiro Barrachina couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Aruco's Felippe Olivieri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Urdin Lino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipo Cariga in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aniquiladores's zone, Oliveiro Barrachina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urdin Lino came out of the goal and Oliveiro Barrachina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omero Mirafuentes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Aruco's corner Sazon Galve fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Urdin Lino quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Vachon Alarcon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Mañon was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
