Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Batista Betancurt kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute of the match Firman Iriusta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elizardo Yurre skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Realcartacho getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Firman Iriusta hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Batista Betancurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ireno Obaldia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vimaro Ruega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elizardo Yurre having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Rallo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Guatica FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Rallo. Vimaro Ruega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elizardo Yurre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Vimaro Ruega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elizardo Yurre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Rius Andibidria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guatica FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Archibaldo Pellicer's late challenge caught a Realcartacho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archibaldo Pellicer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guatica FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Archibaldo Pellicer hit a great ball. Elizardo Yurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vimaro Ruega's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Urtsua Fuenmayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Elizardo Yurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Realcartacho getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Urtsua Fuenmayor hit a great ball. If Batista Betancurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Rallo in the 36th minute of play forced Realcartacho's goalkeeper Ireno Obaldia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elizardo Yurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vimaro Ruega, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Guatica FC booed when Realcartacho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ortle Alcega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Realcartacho's Ireno Obaldia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Betancurt in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Batista Betancurt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ireno Obaldia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

When Vimaro Ruega came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Realcartacho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vimaro Ruega couldn't finish the play. Waldir Zahonero kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Vimaro Ruega scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elizardo Yurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Vimaro Ruega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elizardo Yurre was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Batista Betancurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ireno Obaldia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guatica FC's Haroldo Rallo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vimaro Ruegas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Elizardo Yurre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rius Andibidria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ireno Obaldia having to interfere. If Vimaro Ruega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
