Paulino Goveo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batista Betancurt in the 17th minute of play. Elizardo Yurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inko Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Xerardo Begal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green skull the free kick. Thomas Alzorbe missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 23 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Elizardo Yurre right hand side. Ixaka Tormes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rius Andibidria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Goveo having to interfere. Batista Betancurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paulino Goveo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Thomas Alzorbe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green skull's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Alzorbe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elizardo Yurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Alzorbe kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cordairo Veguri struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Elizardo Yurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green skull. In the 47th minute, Cordairo Veguri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batista Betancurt was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Green skull booed when Guatica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piearres Ramallal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Green skull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elorri Orcondona to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Guatica FC. Piearres Ramallal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulino Goveo. 2-0. Rius Andibidria struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Paulino Goveo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatica FC. 84 minutes into the match, Guatica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cordairo Veguri came free, but Elizardo Yurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordairo Veguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Goveo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rius Andibidria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
