The referee ignored Green skull's protests and gave Ebardo Toral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Ebardo Toral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Ederono Gainzarain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poblazon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green skull the free kick. After 6 played minutes Poblazon got a freekick which was hit by Ederono Gainzarain. When Marcelino Jimenez fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poblazon's protests and gave Marcelino Jimenez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Poblazon's Marcelino Jimenez got a free kick in the 8th minute. Montrel Luey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordairo Veguri in the 10th minute of the match. Cordairo Veguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Montrel Luey managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Green skull's Inko Rivas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ebardo Toral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Poblazon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Albasolo to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Goveo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Barajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montrel Luey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inko Rivas went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Green skull's Paulino Goveo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Sudupe in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Green skull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pellas Pandal to maneuver through the defense. Poblazon's Montrel Luey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Poblazon from getting a goal against them. Celestino Barajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Goveo having to interfere. Paulino Goveo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivon Lucena in the 44th minute of play. Cordairo Veguri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poblazon's Montrel Luey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inko Rivas in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Barajas was the one to do the kick off. When Inko Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Green skull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inko Rivas couldn't finish the play. Inko Rivas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Montrel Luey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green skull. After a defensive mix-up in Poblazon's zone, Cordairo Veguri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montrel Luey came out of the goal and Cordairo Veguri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luzea Lizano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to Poblazon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ederono Gainzarain hit a great ball. Cordairo Veguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ebardo Toral got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 80 played minutes Green skull got a freekick which was hit by Ebardo Toral. After a rather tough play, Green skull's Ritchie Aguirre got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Inko Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordairo Veguri struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Montrel Luey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green skull. After 93 minutes, Igor Bobis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poblazon and the Green skull players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Poblazon's zone, Cordairo Veguri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montrel Luey came out of the goal and Cordairo Veguri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Green skull were the better team. Green skull's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
