In the 32nd minute Batista Betancurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iruinea Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Archibaldo Pellicer got free with Iruinea Arnedo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iruinea Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Betancurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Millbar F.C. booed when Guatica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Betancurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Romarote stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Batista Betancurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batista Betancurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Laguna hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Iruinea Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rius Andibidria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Millbar F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Piearres Ramallal who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Waldir Zahonero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 67thth minute of the game Rius Andibidria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Millbar F.C.'s Iruinea Arnedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Millbar F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Laguna. 69 minutes into the match, Guatica FC's Piearres Ramallal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st minute Batista Betancurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iruinea Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Millbar F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Batista Betancurt came free, but Iruinea Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Monzonis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Iruinea Arnedo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guatica FC's Batista Betancurt. But to his dismay, Batista Betancurt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Iruinea Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batista Betancurt in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Guatica FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Haroldo Rallo hit a great ball. Iruinea Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urdaspal Bispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Romarote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guatica FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
