Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celestino Barajas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Guatica FC's Batista Betancurt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montrel Luey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Celestino Barajas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Poblazon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Barajas couldn't finish the play. Batista Betancurt struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Montrel Luey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatica FC. Montrel Luey came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatica FC's Batista Betancurt. But to his dismay, Batista Betancurt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rius Andibidria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guatica FC's zone, Celestino Barajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elizardo Yurre came out of the goal and Celestino Barajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Poblazon's goal looked a bit too open when Rius Andibidria came free, but Montrel Luey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guatica FC's Elizardo Yurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Barajas in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Batista Betancurt made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Poblazon's Montrel Luey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Batista Betancurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rius Andibidria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montrel Luey having to interfere. Batista Betancurt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montrel Luey having to make a save. Montrel Luey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archibaldo Pellicer in the 42nd minute of the match. Poblazon's Montrel Luey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rius Andibidria in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batista Betancurt to strike the kick off in the second half. Batista Betancurt kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rius Andibidria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Montrel Luey made a huge save. Montrel Luey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batista Betancurt's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Marcelino Jimenez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Rius Andibidria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poblazon's Montrel Luey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Betancurt in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Rius Andibidria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rius Andibidria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Ivon Lucena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poblazon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guatica FC the free kick. Ivon Lucena kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Guatica FC's Piearres Ramallal tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rius Andibidria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Montrel Luey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guatica FC's Rius Andibidria got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batista Betancurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rius Andibidria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Montrel Luey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista Betancurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montrel Luey having to interfere. Montrel Luey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Betancurt in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Poblazon's Zoil Sudupe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elizardo Yurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rius Andibidria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Montrel Luey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guatica FC played a much better game than Poblazon and deserved their victory. The Poblazon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
