Spectators: 6834 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 0) Santa Fe's Fertus Jaraba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Lamberto Rano. In the 7th minute, Mantzio Urquizu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Santa Fe's Gelacio Sedillo didn't even have to move. In the 9th minute, Mantzio Urquizu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, Guapoton's Ricardo Serradell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelacio Sedillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guapoton reached it. After some careless play in the Guapoton defense, Bitxintxo Munguira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Aranguiz. The Guapoton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Aranguiz should have stopped the shot. Mateo Copeiro's late challenge caught a Guapoton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Copeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Roger Aranguiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Copeiro in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bitxintxo Munguira during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Bitxintxo Munguira. If Mantzio Urquizu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Gervaso Retortillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervaso Retortillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Guapoton's goal looked a bit too open when Bitxintxo Munguira came free, but Roger Aranguiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Santa Fe's Fertus Jaraba in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guapoton's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Aranguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fertus Jaraba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervaso Retortillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. In the 54th minute of the match Ricardo Serradell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelacio Sedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fertus Jaraba got free with Roger Aranguiz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Guapoton's zone, Fertus Jaraba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Aranguiz came out of the goal and Fertus Jaraba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bitxintxo Munguira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervaso Retortillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Roger Aranguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Copeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bitxintxo Munguira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bemabe Torrealba took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelacio Sedillo. Gelacio Sedillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 92nd minute, Bitxintxo Munguira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fertus Jaraba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Fertus Jaraba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Aranguiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervaso Retortillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Roger Aranguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Fe were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guapoton to leave the ground with a draw.
