An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Gimenez in the 26th minute of play forced Santa Fe's goalkeeper Gelacio Sedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Belmiro Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teamest FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gervaso Retortillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Fertus Jaraba got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Gervaso Retortillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galindo Rubial to make the kick off. Santa Fe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Belmiro Gimenez scored to the left of an out of position Gelacio Sedillo, making the score, 0-2. Teamest FC's Belmiro Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Vaz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Santa Fe defense, Fernan Maide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelacio Sedillo. The Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelacio Sedillo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Teamest FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Pierres Carasa hit a great ball. Gelacio Sedillo was a little too slow when Galindo Rubial got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-5. Gelacio Sedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Gimenez in the 76th minute. Teamest FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Santa Fe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Galindo Rubial took the corner. The corner ended in Galindo Rubial almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Fe's Gelacio Sedillo did a great save. 84 minutes into the match, Belmiro Gimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gelacio Sedillo. Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 89thth minute of the game Gervaso Retortillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teamest FC's Raphael Cañaveral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
