Gelacio Sedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabon Castaosa in the 9th minute of the match. Gaston Galli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fertus Jaraba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Galli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fertus Jaraba in the 14th minute of play. Gaston Galli made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Delmar Carrios sent off a good shot on target. Santa Fe's Gervaso Retortillo suffered a fractured collar bone after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to USTA FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gabon Castaosa hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Mitxaut Segurola came free, but Gelacio Sedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Bitxintxo Munguira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gaston Galli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gelacio Sedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Labarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelacio Sedillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitxaut Segurola went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txatxu Aguila to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Fertus Jaraba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fertus Jaraba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Santa Fe defense, Andres Labarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelacio Sedillo. The Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelacio Sedillo should have stopped the shot. After the first half USTA FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of USTA FC booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Copeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Labarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gelacio Sedillo made a huge save. Gaston Galli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fertus Jaraba went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 68th play minutes Fertus Jaraba shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Gaston Galli and just under the crossbar into goal. Mitxaut Segurola hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fertus Jaraba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaston Galli. USTA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lamberto Rano's late challenge caught a USTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lamberto Rano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Lamberto Rano got a free kick in the 74th minute. A hard shot by Gabon Castaosa from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Gelacio Sedillo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 77th minute, Mitxaut Segurola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gelacio Sedillo. The goal made the score 3-3. 80 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Ekaitz Novales came free, but Gelacio Sedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelacio Sedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Labarra in the 82nd minute. Gelacio Sedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekaitz Novales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 minutes of play, USTA FC's Mitxaut Segurola made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelacio Sedillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Santa Fe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching USTA FC's performance. The match ended with a win for USTA FC.
