The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Eriberto Vaquerizo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Junior FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Carambinos FC's Gamus Viciola got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matei Lodero. Peli Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bastia Urdiñola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carambinos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastia Urdiñola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Lodero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Carambinos FC booed when Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guib Arieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peli Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Lodero having to interfere. Bastia Urdiñola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Matei Lodero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Piorno Uralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtun Aquejano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peli Carneiro in the 37th minute of play forced Junior FC's goalkeeper Matei Lodero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Carambinos FC's Arnaldo Nuncibay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Junior FC's Piorno Uralde in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carambinos FC's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Junior FC's Guib Arieta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urtun Aquejano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peli Carneiro to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Junior FC's Guib Arieta got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Carambinos FC booed when Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreto Lazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peli Carneiro in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matei Lodero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guib Arieta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of Carambinos FC booed when Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inaki Quejana didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Carambinos FC's Urtun Aquejano got control of the ball when Piorno Uralde tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peli Carneiro in the 72nd minute of play forced Junior FC's goalkeeper Matei Lodero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frechoso Joara's late challenge caught a Junior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frechoso Joara helped the player get up and apologised. Frechoso Joara hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Felix Balado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urtun Aquejano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piorno Uralde in the 79th minute. The supporters of Carambinos FC booed when Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piorno Uralde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canor Ugia's late challenge caught a Junior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Canor Ugia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Carambinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Canor Ugia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Frechoso Joara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carambinos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frechoso Joara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Junior FC's Matei Lodero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peli Carneiro in the 89th minute of play. Piorno Uralde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Urtun Aquejano made a huge save. After some careless play in the Carambinos FC defense, Piorno Uralde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urtun Aquejano. The Carambinos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urtun Aquejano should have stopped the shot. Guib Arieta struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Urtun Aquejano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junior FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carambinos FC had won after a very even match.
