Sparcks FC's Merexildo Rolan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sparcks FC from getting a goal against them. Frans Alsedar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The long shot by Feliu Brancovi in the 18th minute really tested Merexildo Rolan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jairo Irastorza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelio Pizarro in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Josepe Inestrosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the la cokiña f.c and the Sparcks FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Josepe Inestrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, la cokiña f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Deza came free, but Jairo Irastorza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelio Pizarro's late challenge caught a la cokiña f.c's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelio Pizarro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of la cokiña f.c booed when Sparcks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelio Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Sparcks FC's goalkeeper Merexildo Rolan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andre Acebo. Josepe Inestrosa was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 29th match minute, la cokiña f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josepe Inestrosa to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, la cokiña f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Zenaido Funes came free, but Jairo Irastorza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Weterio Casadevante charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Weterio Casadevante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes la cokiña f.c got a freekick which was hit by Weterio Casadevante. After 36 played minutes Sparcks FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristos Cotillos. Nelio Pizarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jairo Irastorza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zenaido Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Acebo was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Irastorza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ponce Iturriz went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Zenaido Funes took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jairo Irastorza to make any attempt to save it. Jairo Irastorza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Deza in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to la cokiña f.c getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Weterio Casadevante hit a great ball. With a little luck, la cokiña f.c's Jairo Irastorza got control of the ball when Roque Deza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in la cokiña f.c's zone, Nelio Pizarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Irastorza came out of the goal and Nelio Pizarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Sparcks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristos Cotillos to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Daunte Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. la cokiña f.c's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Nelio Pizarro scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Irastorza, making the score, 1-4. Weterio Casadevante kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Sparcks FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sparcks FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
