Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. STIFFEN F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Ximeno Amor scored to the left of an out of position Mendiko Euque, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, STIFFEN F.C.'s goalkeeper Mendiko Euque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Ruberte. After a defensive mix-up in Buga's zone, Cristian Aceituno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hug Velarde came out of the goal and Cristian Aceituno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, STIFFEN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Ruberte came free, but Mendiko Euque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Aceituno took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hug Velarde. Hug Velarde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mendiko Euque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ruberte in the 23rd minute of play. Hug Velarde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Queiruga in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Buga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentine Carbajo to maneuver through the defense. Buga's Mauricio Ruberte got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ximeno Amor took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Mendiko Euque to make any attempt to save it. If Guaberto Queiruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buga's goalkeeper Hug Velarde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hug Velarde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Queiruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Cristian Aceituno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Buga's Hug Velarde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Queiruga in the 60th minute of play. The STIFFEN F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when STIFFEN F.C.'s Guaberto Queiruga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bitxintxo Borras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hug Velarde having to interfere. If Guaberto Queiruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Queiruga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hug Velarde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Queiruga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, STIFFEN F.C.'s Guaberto Queiruga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Queiruga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hug Velarde was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Buga getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Saturnino Encinas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bitxintxo Borras in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hug Velarde saved Buga from getting behind. In the 90th minute, STIFFEN F.C.'s Guaberto Queiruga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. 96 minutes into the match, STIFFEN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Ruberte came free, but Mendiko Euque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STIFFEN F.C. played a much better game than Buga and deserved their victory. The Buga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
