Jordi Respaldizar came out of the goal and Baraquiel Alzola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of atletico Nacional booed when DUNCAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domeka Taracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 61 minutes of play, DUNCAN FC's Baraquiel Alzola made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jordi Respaldizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DUNCAN FC's Orlando Villachica got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mosen Ibero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maurin Valer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Deunoro Cubo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes DUNCAN FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramond Peñalba. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Maurin Valer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 83 minutes of play, DUNCAN FC's Baraquiel Alzola made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jordi Respaldizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurin Valer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vennancio Aranguren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. DUNCAN FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
