Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musko Giumill in the 6th minute of play forced Cristales's goalkeeper Jarl Torsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selmo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Musko Giumill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarl Torsberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chucho Saladrigues. The supporters of Banganita booed when Cristales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selmo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jarl Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Musko Giumill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes, Cristales's Jânio Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baumar Buscando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cristales reached it. Tercero Montano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Selmo Rosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Jarl Torsberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Banganita's zone, Gaueko Moracia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baumar Buscando came out of the goal and Gaueko Moracia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aires Castrillo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Baumar Buscando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristales. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Musko Giumill to make the kick off. Jânio Carvalho hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Selmo Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banganita's supporters rose to their feet, but Selmo Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Torsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 minutes of play, Banganita's Musko Giumill made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarl Torsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristales's Jarl Torsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmo Rosa in the 57th minute of play. Roi Nadal's late challenge caught a Banganita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roi Nadal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cristales getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Roi Nadal hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Banganita had won after a very even match.
