Talento Madrileño's Nicolas Lardero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Demirman in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Apolo Matheu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepillo Prelo. Independiente Medellin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Matheu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Apolo Matheu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Jenaro Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepillo Prelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Quizan made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Talento Madrileño getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Maurino Viñambres hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the game, Domiku Barrachina threw the ball into play from the sideline. Independiente Medellin's Shantala Galdamiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jenaro Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pepillo Prelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Domiku Barrachina in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Independiente Medellin's Shantala Galdamiz. In the 81st match minute, Talento Madrileño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domiku Barrachina to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Benet Peralves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Martin Quizan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Lardero having to interfere. Lalo Erus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepillo Prelo having to interfere. Nicolas Lardero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Quizan in the 91st minute of play. If Benet Peralves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Independiente Medellin's Nicolas Lardero threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benet Peralves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Independiente Medellin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talento Madrileño.
