Banganita's Musko Giumill got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Alaejos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hotz Aguinagalde. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pelayo Pedrueza in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baumar Buscando saved Banganita from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Banganita got a freekick which was hit by Oihenarte Barga. Selmo Rosas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Virgilio Alaejos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pelayo Pedrueza struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Baumar Buscando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FECHA DE DESCANSO. The audience was convinced that Pelayo Pedrueza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baumar Buscando was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Banganita's Baumar Buscando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciano Tellado in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelayo Pedrueza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musko Giumill in the 76th minute of play forced FECHA DE DESCANSO's goalkeeper Virgilio Alaejos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selmo Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Alaejos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Banganita booed when FECHA DE DESCANSO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Zartucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Musko Giumill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Alaejos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the FECHA DE DESCANSO defense, Selmo Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Alaejos. The FECHA DE DESCANSO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Alaejos should have stopped the shot.
