Pepillo Prelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco-Antonio Etcheverry in the 5th minute of play. Mede Suane kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Marco-Antonio Etcheverry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MOTILONES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco-Antonio Etcheverry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Quizan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Graells prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ihazintu Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Martin Quizan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mede Suane came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Independiente Medellin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mede Suane couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Martin Quizan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente Medellin's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Quizan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Graells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente Medellin's goalkeeper Pepillo Prelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Quizan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Graells having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MOTILONES FC's goalkeeper Vincent Graells, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Martin Quizan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vincent Graells was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Independiente Medellin's Pepillo Prelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo De Paul in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of MOTILONES FC booed when Independiente Medellin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mede Suane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo De Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Valdecañas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Paublo Achaque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepillo Prelo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Independiente Medellin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MOTILONES FC.
