Marcelo Reboyras helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of París Saint Germán Fc booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xinto Riero ran back to his position shaking his head. When Erroman Giral fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lions's protests and gave Erroman Giral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of París Saint Germán Fc booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erroman Giral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

París Saint Germán Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions the free kick.
